The INFORM 2020 Scientific Committee welcomes your abstracts for display and presentation at the 2020 symposium being held in Freiburg, Germany.  All abstracts submitted to INFORM 2020 can be posted during the Poster Presentation, even if your abstract was not selected for a travel grant. Eight investigators will be selected to present during the symposium and be awarded up to a $2000 travel grant.  Several abstracts will be selected to present during a scheduled 10 min time frame at their poster at the end of our keynote presentation and during our networking reception. They will also be awarded a travel grant.  All others are encouraged to take part in the poster presentation. 

All junior Investigators displaying a poster on the opening night of INFORM will be considered for a $1000 Best Poster Award.

2020 Abstract/Poster Guidelines

  • Submission period for Abstracts is February 1, 2020 – July 1, 2020

  • Submit your abstracts in English

  • Text should be Times New Roman

  • Posters should be in portrait format, NOT landscape format. They should not be wider than 84.1 cm (horizontal dimension) and higher than 118.9 cm (vertical dimension).

  • Follow standard abstract formatting: Title (written in standard sentence style), Corresponding Authors: First Name, Last name, with degree(s), Institution, City, State/Province/District, Country for each. Corresponding Author contact information: (email, & phone #), Abstract, Background, Methods, Results, Discussion

  • The abstract text must not exceed 2000 characters, including spaces and headings

  • Drugs must be mentioned by generic names

  • Submit your abstract in PDF format to:

  • In the Subject line of your email place the words: Abstract / INFORM 2020 (along with the title of your abstract ).

Important Information

Up to 8 Abstracts will be chosen to be presented at INFORM 2020. Recipients will be notified by July 29, 2020.

Junior Investigators will receive first consideration for travel grant awards.

Details will be sent individually to the Travel Grant Recipient on how to BEST make your flight arrangements through the organizations travel agency. If you decide to make your own travel arrangements several documents will need to be submitted to the committee,
(i.e: Tax ID information, Banking deposit numbers, and your flight itinerary and final invoice). You will be reimbursed the amount of the value of the ticket on the day of purchase.  Your reimbursement could take several months to receive after the symposiums conclusion.

Up two (2) nights hotel accommodations will be provided at the selected hotel as part of the travel grant.
